Dr. Jan Bouwer, opened this surgery before the turn of the century, making it the oldest full time surgery in J-bay. He stays up to date with the latest technology and advances in all the relevant fields of cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry through continued education/courses OR Keeping up with changing times and technology, he has always set the trend in dentistry for the area. He is a kind gentle man and always has time for people. He finished his degree at the university off Stellenbosch in 1992. He loves the outdoors and that’s how he ended up in Jbay. If he is not at the practice you can find him and his wife Adrienne at Point -surfing or at Aston bay on their Kiteboards. They have 3 children. Jancke, Mieke and Jannick.

Dr. Bouwer has a keen interest in aesthetic dentistry, Cerec and orthodontics.

Marilise Boshoff is our oral hygienist and sees herself as a “gum healer” and not just a “teeth cleaner”.

She has 26 year’s experience in this profession, lecturing at the University of Stellenbosch, working for many years in private practice, as well as an orthodontic practice she strives to educate and treat her patients towards a healthy, disease free, beautiful smiles and to be on top of new developments.

It is especially rewarding to change patient’s fear for the dental chair so that they are actually looking forward to the next appointment

She is married to Kobus and has two children, Carla and Christiaan, who are both students at the University of Pretoria.

Dr. Carmen Basson graduated from UPE in 2001. She started her aesthetic training in London in 2006, and returned to South Africa in 2008 where she owned a practice specializing in Dental and Facial Aesthetics. She has done numerous courses in basic and advanced Botox and Filler techniques, as well as Facial Mesotherapy, Chemical Peels, Threading and Medical Dermapen treatments. She is a trained chef and completed a Permaculture Design Course.She also completed a Program in Business Management at GIBS.

Dr Elrie Morton graduated from the University of Pretoria in 2009. She came down from Gauteng in 2016 on holiday and just never went back.  She joined the practice in 2017 and even though the inner child in all of us comes to the surface in the dental office, she has a special interest in the little people. Her aim is on happy healthy little mouths which lead her to include a field of practice in Ortho pedodontics based on the 4 dimensions of success. This approach she learned directly from Dr Bert Botha, the pioneer in the field and also the father of the Orthologics system.

She loves being outdoors, hiking or jogging. Her husband Duncan, often accompanies her on his bicycle. Her two children De Wet and Elmie, make it their business to keep their mom up to date on everything hip and happening in little lives and hearts.

Dr. Gillori Euvrard joined the practice in 2020 but has been based in Jeffreys Bay since 2016.  After traveling the world (28 countries) and then traveling for work, she finally set down roots in      Jeffreys Bay to build into the community.

With a heart for sustainability and community upliftment, she practices general dentistry to make excellent healthcare accessible to all.

She loves new experiences, whether it is expanding her knowledge in dentistry, mastering a concert on the cello, or trying out a new recipe with fresh products from her garden.

With a husband and two sons she adventures looks different every day.

Dr. Burger joined Dr. Bouwer in 2009. Together they expanded the business from a successful one-man-practice to what it is today.

Dr. Burger enjoys meeting new people and the large amount of foreign patients he deals with is his favourite part of the job. Creating beautiful smiles, Implants and Cerec dentistry is what he enjoys most.  Dr. Burger is married to Carmen and have delightful little boy called Alwyn that keeps him awake most of the time.

Dr. Burger and Bouwer often have their “board” meeting at Point surf spot. Surfing and biking are his favourite hobbies. He also runs but only to lose weight, not because he likes it.
